It was a big challenge for Zillion architects and managers to renovate rundown houses once owned by legionaries during the First Slovak Republic and designed by a well-known architect Dušan Jurkovič, when their present owners decided to get the facades which were in disrepair renovated. After constructive negotiations with representatives of The Monuments Board and the City of Bratislava this project was successfully completed and managed to keep to the typical style of a “legionhouse” as well as the original details and colours.
The house was awarded as The Façade of 2012 by Baumit Company in the category ‘Reconstruction’.
Zillion provided project management, technical surveyance for the investor, and coordination with administrative departments.
